The Navarre Innovation Agency (ANAIN) is a Public Limited Company owned by the Navarre Government which was created to promote a quantitative and qualitative growth of innovation in the Region. Its mandate includes the implementation of part of the Navarre Technology Plan, which aims to improve the quality of citizens’ lives and foster a policy of sustainable development for Navarrese society through Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I) activities in companies, technology centres and universities.

Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación de Navarra (CEIN) is a limited company owned by the Government of Navarra at the service of SMEs and entrepreneurs, with the mission of consolidating and diversifying the region’s industrial and economic fabric. CEIN fosters the entrepreneurial spirit, identifies with/ promotes and implements business projects and drives innovation in companies in Navarra.

The Government of Navarra set up CENIFER, Centro de Formación en Energías Renovables, to respond to the training needs that arise in the field of clean energies. Its main objective is ensure a supply of qualified and recycled technicians and specialists in the field, and organises a series of courses and programmes to comply with this objective.

Navarra de Suelo Industrial, NASUINSA is a publicly owned company that started managing industrial land in the region in July 1997. Among its objectives is the provision of land-related technical assistance services to the Administration, Local Councils and projects that are undertaken within the framework of industrial development.

La Sociedad de Desarrollo de Navarra, SODENA is the main instrument of the Government of Navarra for the business development of the region. SODENA operates by an active and major role in different phases of business projects to contribute towards the balanced and sustained development of Navarra. Its main financial instrument to handle these projects is venture capital, an activity it has carried out since its constitution in 1984.

La Sociedad de Promoción de Inversiones e Infraestructuras de Navarra, SPRIN is a company set up in 2005 by the Government of Navarra to drive investments and infrastructures in the productive sector in Navarre. Among other initiatives, SPRIN promotes transport, technology, cultural and industrial infrastructures in strategic sectors, the implementation of investments in Navarra, the preparation of economy-based studies and the dissemination of production activities carried out or sponsored by the Government of Navarra.

Start up Capital Navarra was created in October 2000 to invest in business projects located in Navarra that had a strong innovative element, and preferably in the technology area. It operates by taking a temporary shareholding that aims at consolidating new innovative companies. It provides consultancy and strategic monitoring of all processes without interfering in the company’s management .
